Tim "Lumpy" Herron

Tim "Lumpy" Herron is Minnesota born and raised and is a 4 time PGA Champion. Tim's PGA tour career includes victories at the 1996 Honda Classic, 1997 La Cantera Texas Open, 1999 Bay Hill Invitational and 2006 Bank of America Colonial.

 

Tim is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where he played college golf and during his amateur career played on the Walker Cup team in 1993. He now plays on the Champions Tour where his first appearance in 2022 will be at the Chubb Classic in Naples FL Feb 18-20. Tim's lifetime earnings have approached $20 million and he has had 59 top 10 finishes.

 

He is widely recognized as one of the nicest gentlemen on tour. He was given his nickname "Lumpy" by the golf pro at a local club when at the age of 16 he worked in the bag room. While Tim initially didn't like it, the nickname stuck and has been part of Tim's brand ever since.
